Thank you, happy that you like it.
Words fail me anyway. Such a cool piece Roman! i love everithing about it expecially the base and the fleshtones on the Tarzan it self. This make me want to build big bases and mad projects. Top Notch!
Do not do it, its a trap :D ...
this is really fantastic Roman! i think when you work on nature you are just the best. fantastic intepretation and superb diorama. gold and editor for me no doubt.
Thank you, Fra. Coming from you who knows and painted the models too I am really thankful for your comment. Nature rules. Green is my color, even i am in need to see something else after this project.
Thank you, brother in name!
I think the perfect medal it has to be GREEN!!
but GOLD will work just fine :DDDD
A green medal would be awesome!
It’s so cool and original that I have no words !!! Awesome powerful work !!! My deep respect !!! You are a GOD Roman !!!!
No God at work on this side. Not even mad skills. Just bloody dedication hahhaha
a Real breath of the jungle wilderness! Nice usage of all the small critters to create a ambience where he is a part of their pack. <3
I’m mindblown by how much dedication it must take to build and complete this masterpiece. :O Crazy man. :D
Thank you veey much for the kind words!
this is just awesome! great work. does the little baboon come with the kit or did you make it?
Thanks. The baboon is a remain from a model i one day wanted to paint by SMOG or Mauser Earth. Not sure if they are still available. Check for the company names I pointed out.
Fantastic, Roman. So much atmosphere, you can smell, hear and feel the damp green jungle. Love it.
Thank you, David.
Gold, nothing else :) a really nice piece and as usual you have captured the wild emotions and the necessary atmosphere to make this diorama come alive. Well done!
Thank you very much my friend. As you know the story behind this project it makes me happy that it turned out as something enjoyable to observe. Thank you for your comment!
Marvellous piece! as if he’s stepping right out of the jungle. Very vivid (as always)! I like it :)
Happy that you like it, Martin. Thx!
A masterpiece! Once again you have succeeded in transferring me into another world with your work. Wonderful composition of figures and jungle, it fits together.
Thank you very much for your feedback. I am really happy that this finds you so inspired.
Love this one Roman!!
“I never build such a big base again” -> That’s what you said with “The Last Light” hahaha. I know one day a big base will call your name, my friend. One day…. ;-)
Hahahha… yeah i remember what I said. Not goos in learning things I guess :D
I love your style of real painting, many will say it is “dirty” but I tell them that reality is dirty.
Incredible little details.
Absolutely true. Well i do not judge different painting styles. Clean, dirty, vivid, dark, childish ... everything has its meaning and people are different, so shall be their styles in painting. I appreciate different styles a lot. Clean and smooth blendings in my oppinion is not a style. It is a technique. Several techniques make up a style. Thanks for your comment!
Awesome, love it!
You´re a mad man, Roman! Loved it from the first sight of your first WIP pictures and knew that it would turn out epic. And so it did….
Many thanks, Thorsten. I sometimes do not like to be mad with such projects. I start hating them while creating ... but ending such feels like a little rebirth.
love the black and white picture ! :)
Yes me too. It is a nice addition to all the green colors. Thanks!
i hate you, my friend :-) great job
Thanks for the love, Daniele :)
Me encanta, trabajo increíble, Golddddddddd!!!
Fantastic work Roman, How many days did you spend in the jungle to create this superb dioram !!!
I did not count the days. Estimated hours in the full project is ~200 hours…
Infact, was my question, how many day’s did you lived in the real jungle to create this beauty
great artwork! I love the base!
Thank you, Sergio. I love spending time on bases.
Amazing ! Great job Roman !
Great job! ;)
Merci beaucoup, Monsieur!
Stunning Here Roman.
I can feel the jungle beat and barely breath it!
It’s good to see how good you are, when you’re lost in youre own jungle !!!Gross coup-de-coeur !!!
Thank you, Monsieur!
A nice work, congrats!
Very interesting interpretation! May I ask, why did you choose to add the beard? And also, did you sculpt the little monkeys? :)
Thank you. Sure, i created the beard as in my vision of Tarzan this guy does not shave very often. Most of the monkeys and birds are from Mantis Miniatures, Butterflies, Snakes and Geckos by Busch and the big monkey by Smog.
A very special piece with a very special history behind.
I am fully in love with your idea and the unique “Roman Execution & Atmosphere”
And especially congratulation for fighting against the demon of hughe projects!!!
Thank you, Oliver.
Great scene man! All look so natural!
Happy to have reached this goal. Thx!
This is such an impressive piece!
