Maj. 'Blondie? Hasler did one of the most suicide raids in WW2. He was the organized of Operation Frankton. 5 canoes come out from a british submarine, HMS Tuna and attack a french harbour here the german had many supply ships... There was only 2 survivors, Maj. 'Blondie' Hasler and Corporal Bill Sparks, his companion... The order SBS troops died...
There are many people that have the opinion that Maj. Hasler meserve the Victoria Cross Medal, but he never received her...
Maj. Hasler was the 'father' of SBS (Special Boat Service)...
Great mens with extreme courage, and they fought for a free and better world...
