This something a little different where I wanted to experiment with themes, composition, shapes, tree building, backdrop for miniature...

      We just had our second child and it will most likely be the last. I also had this mini for sometime and knew I wanted to paint it at some stage because there aren’t many (any?) sculpts of pregnant women. It seemed like the “right” time. So I put a lot of my feelings and thoughts into the project to process them and get some closure ;) I felt restricted in my last two projects, so I decided to read about composition and themes in canvas art and go a little crazy here.
