Blood Angels Sanguinary Priest. — This commission was a lot of fun to build and paint. I used the Sanguinary Guard as a base model, and then added parts from the Ravenwing Command Squad. I tried painting red with a higher contrast, and using a very light blue to highlight. It was a great learning experience, but I need a lot more work to get the reflective red that I like to see.

  Thanks, John. This guy was a lot of fun to build and paint, and a nice step forward. I still have a lot of experimenting to do before I get a red that I really like, though.
