I was lucky enough to get an unpainted copy of this mounted archer casted by Nevskaya miniatura in St Petersburg.
54mm metal figure.
I tried to reproduce original patterns.
A lot of work went on this horseman.

      merci Alex. En fait c’est grace à la fille de Tatiana (Olga Kropotova ) que je connais bien car elle expose à Sèvres régulièrement, et je suis fascinné par ce qu’elle fait… c’est une véritable artiste !
      Olga est la fille de Tatiana (N. miniatura) et c’est elle qui m’a introduit après avoir vu mon Ivan le terrble que j’avais peint il y a deux ans.
      Olga était morte de rire en me disant que ce que j’avais peint ressemblait bcp à l’école de St Petersbourg (!) la seule diférence étant qu’il font cela en 2-3 semaines , et moi en 4-5 mois !
