I painted this one in the later half of 2007. For reasons unknown to me, I adore this figure from the old Celtos line. The base under the water was built up with putty, tiny shells, and rocks in a space cut into the wood block. I built a square around the finished base and poured clear resin tinted slightly with green and blue inks to create the water.
She received a silver medal in Painter's division at the SCAHMS show in 2011.
