“They Shall Not Pass” Verdun, 1916
Hi all, I am an 18 year old painter from France. This is a French WW1 bust I painted. It is a slightly modified version of Young Miniatures' French Foreign Legion. I sanded the head so that the helmet could fit onto the pre-sculpted hair, and I decided to go with the classic Horizon Blue on the M1915 greatcoat. This bust was gifted to me by Young B. Song of Young Miniatures.

Sorry for the lack of photos and the photo quality, I am an amateur and recently started painting.

    J’aime bien ton style de peinture, cela donne un peu un côté graphique… si tu es débutant, ton travail annonce du très bon pour un avenir proche. Félicitations !!

    C’est tres bon, mon ami. Je voudrais d’essayer la meme chose parce que je voudrais un poilu miniature avec la casque sur la tete. Peut-etre le project prochaine pour moi! Je m’excuse pour mon francais, mais je suis Anglais et il y a beaucoup d’ans depuis l’ecole :-)
