Thank you very much Eric, the truth is that I didn´t knew Stefano Landi´s composition, I copy the design of this pavise from a french model of the XV century, the text in latin says: Man runs like a shadow.

The figure is a resin model in 75mm from I & E models from Leeds, England. Actually discontinued.

Originally was a venetian arquebusier, and I decided to paint it as a french one.
