The aim, from the beginning, was to create a fairy tale character far from realistic painting. Color, light, shapes and textures had to follow more dramatic and expressive meanings rather than life-like finish. This is what this amazing Lucas Pina sculpture told me at first sight.
Fairy tales are not only children´s stories, but also adult´s stories. They are often methaforical and reflect real life situations dealing with themes most people can recognize.
