Painted as a commission (my first bust commission).

I wanted to try and avoid the obvious Lord of the Rings Nazgul look this bust has. Plus all the other versions I've seen seem to use quite a bit of green so I wanted to avoid that where possible. Not easy as undead and green go so well together.

Learned a fair amount with the magenta and fluorescent paint on this too. And as usual, much didn't go right first try and needed tinkering with. Never really tried a bronze metal with verdigris or attempted to make chainmail look rusty.

Hope you like it.

An incredibly bold project, I honestly don’t know what to do with it every time I see it, so cudos for tackling one of those anomalies I look at and think, why does this exist, in a more interesting way than everyone else.

Many thanks. Painters often get put off when faces don’t have defined features and especially eyes. I just like monstrous creatures I suppose.
