So I wanted to make the first bust that humanity has made, the first, I should say the oldest to discover. The Venus of Brassempouy is a face sculpted in mammoth ivory. Dating from the Upper Paleolithic (Gravettian, 29 to 22,000 years AD), it is the oldest realistic representation of a human face. Je voulais donc recréer le premier buste que l'humanité a réalisé, le premier, je devrais dire le plus ancien découvert. La dame de Brassempouy est un visage sculpté dans de l'ivoire de mammouth.
