Here is my latest achievement. I called her "Little Katsumi".
Why Little?
Because this part is initially intended to be made from a 1/10 scale 3D printer. In fact, I wanted to make a much smaller part, approaching 70 mm. As a result, the part lost some printing details, and required a fairly substantial rework. I especially wanted to make a kimono with different patterns from those engraved in light relief on the original piece.

    Très jolie peinture Eric, j’adore le kimono! Malheureusement la sculpture manque de finesse à cette échelle, le visage semble écrasé... Or malgré cela puisque c’est la peinture qui est jugée ici, et bravo pour cela!

      Merci Pierre. C’est vrai que le visage a petite echelle est nettement moins beau qu’au 1/10. Mais c’était mon challenge de la peindre en reduction.

      Oui Marc, tu as raison. En fait, je crois avoir détecté que le problème vient d’un mauvais papier sulfure utilisé pour ma palette humide. Mais la pièce est vraiment petite, et ces défauts ne sont pratiquement pas visibles à l’oeil nu.

    I like the fact you brought sadness and respite mood, yet using a warm palette.
    I can feel the mourning of the husband she lost on the battlefield as a first reading, and the warm palette bring the anger of revenge building up. Masterful.
