I'm enjoying painting busts. :) I modeled some mushrooms in blender to add a little touch of life to this busts so he's a tough guy with a little heart. ;)

    Anyone can tell me an effective way of giving it a really matte finish?
    I have a vallejo matt varnish and I tried it on a mini that was a little too glossy and it ended up much more glossy. :(

      I have a Golden polymer matte varnish that gives better result than the vallejo IMO (usually I thin it down to 1 varnish : 3 water and apply 3 times if it might help). However even with the vallejo I never ended with the mini being more glossy than before the varnish… Maybe it needs shaking with a steel ball or maybe its a bad bottle…
