So, today I finished paint first bust in my life. And this was easier and harder, than miniatures simultaneously. On one hand, you need to handle details better, but one other hand, this details are just bigger) But it more interesting than paint miniatures. Especially painting skin. I tried to make realistic skin, and have some success, I think. And few words about composition overall. When I was deciding how to paint this bust, one thought don't leave me: today in mass media showing war like attraction, dangerous, but funny. It often demonstrate examples of heroes that can does all and even don't get sweat, and even show some "romantic at war". But truth is that war is murder at first, and has no beauty. So this is why I don't wanted to paint shiny new armor and cool make up. I hope, some day, war left only in art and than it really becomes attraction. Until then, let's not forget what it is.

Well done, I love the concept. The raw feeling of the textured and weathered metals and concrete is great, as is the skin.
    Gold!
