Ouroboros is a personal project done in 2017 and to date it still remains on of my favorite. It represents the beginning of life, and the end, with time in between. This is the journey that each and every one of us has to follow. In this project I have tried to give shape to the saying that life and death walk hand in hand, and the fact that wherever there is life, there is also death.
Charles, cant wait to see if some of your beautiful pieces are (re)issued. In the meantime, I’ve ordered the Morrigan via Journeyman Miniatures, which is an equally beautiful sculpt. It shall sit well in my display cabinet with my Harbinger of Doom..
Digital sculpture is an interesting thing, and you are a good designer, but I can’t compare it with hand sculpting or painting. Sorry. I think this is different kind of art
Why you felt the need to say this and what you try to achieve by it I don’t understand it, but sure mate that is up to you I don’t do what I do to be accepted by people, I do what I do because I love doing it and I see results, it is my way of expressing my thoughts and bring them to life.
It is a different kind of art with the same final result after all, and I’m not trying to change your mind that’s up to you, but never think to achieve a good result in digital is magic and all the hard work and practice to try to achieve a good sculpture traditionally applies to digital.
