In this bust, I tried to use very vivid colors, not only due to personal taste, but also because, for me, that's what Ugg is mostly about, so I tried to capture his attitude and mood.

I have always been fascinated with sailing and piracy, so, when I saw this sculpt for the first time, it immediately spoke to me in that level, causing me to see Ugg as a cook, sailing with his pirate crew on wonderful adventures.

Because of this, I wanted to give him a very dreamy and 'fantasy book'-like look.

My first contact with this bust was David Arroba's version of it, so I obviously took some inspiration from it.

I also ended up being very inspired by my favourite fantasy artist, Justin Gerard, trying to go for catchy, but realistic colors, as if he came out of an illustration.
