Really well done. I like the textures you painted, lovely on the axe. I like the light placement on the skin a lot and your overall focus work that draws the viewer to the face. I think the base is a bit behind your skill as the grass looks just off. My tip for using these types of grass is to glue it with superglue, when dry, let a drop a water run in it to make it all wet, use a wash and let it flow into the water. It will get darker to the ground, connect much better with the groundwork. When this is dry you can drybrush the tips and your grass game will be much, much convincing. I voted silver! Really like it!
Thank you very much Roman! Yes the base isn’t my best work - I just didn’t feel that inspired and rushed it. I really appreciate the tips (especially coming from you - considering how beautiful your bases always look) - need to give them a try. :) So far I only used my airbrush for changing up the look of tufts.
