The Squide is part of the 1:144 scale Nautilus kit from Pegasus Hobbys

Painting is done in acryl and oil

    Hi Bernd, Lovely work and great setup for this beautiful kit. I did vote silver. For Feedback, if you look underwater you can see that the lower you get the darker and desaturated your colors get. Influanced by dark blue. This is not happening here, but you want to achieve a deep dark ocean look. I like the back with all the drawings. Really nice. Also the second photo caused me a little bit of a headache as I had to think first what I am looking at. I think it would be better turned to vertical view. A really cool project and a well deserved silver metal!

      Sorry for the pure qualitiy of the photos. I try to change those with the wrong position.
      Got the point with the darker blue in the lower areas. I try to achieve this look by going to
      overall blue in the Backround an in the squid. But maiby not consistand enough.

    I like it. Nice marine life background. Perhaps adding some more light ripple effect or water texture on base would deepen the scene feel.
