This is my take on Chris Clayton's HUSH. It's only taken seven years and I must admit to feeling the pressure of measuring up to Chris's original and Kirill's freehand extravaganza while trying to make my own vision. Hopefully I managed some of that :)

    Impressive piece, Conrad. The light and shadow work on this piece is brilliant as is the texture work! I think she deserves better photos! The textured backdrop is confusing the viewer’s eye. At least mine. I want to focus on colors, textures and so on via the figure but the backdrop is irritationg. She would work great on white or grey background I am pretty sure! Additionally I think none of these photos here show her golden angle, means the character’s best side. You know it better as you painted her ... I would love to look her in her eyes. Maybe this angle is possible. Gold and Editor’s from me. One of the best texture paintings I have seen in a long time!
