Sometimes we paint for beauty. Sometimes we paint to depict a scene. Sometimes we paint and throw our hearts into the work to make it as perfect as we can!

And sometimes we need to paint silly things. Sometimes we relax without the pressure of painting a masterpiece.

This is one of those times. This is the Beerholder! Narthoks the Excellent: Bartender version, by the now gone Bear's Head Miniatures. I painted him about a year or so ago to relieve some stress. Just look at him - how could I be sad while painting that face? Obviously I was delighted the whole time.

Is it a good paint job? Nope. Nothing special. Incredibly basic with lazy shading. Will someone smile when they see that great grinning purple smirk? Probably!
