I think you could have used some “coarser” brush strokes on the face, to make him look more hand drawn like the backdrop and his coat. You could maybe also have had brighter highlights on has face, as it seems a bit more gray than the backdrop. white highlights would make him look more wet, and make him stand out a bit more.

I love the contrast of the smoothly painted figure and the rougher raindrops. It really feels dynamic and helps sell the movement of the rain while making the figure seem unafraid of the rain (or anything else). Absolutely amazing work!
