Theoden received the Judge’s Award (Honorary Mention) at #thunderbrush2023. I was dithering about attending Thunderbrush, because I’ve had bad personal experiences with painting competitions in the past. This model got me to push through that barrier and commit to going, and I had a wonderful time. I painted it in a style that *I* wanted and it stood toe to toe with some incredible competition.
