This is a one-off piece I sculpted for a collaboration with the painter Matt Carnevale, based on the artwork titled "Siren Song" by Boris Vallejo. The challenge of this piece was of course the anatomy of the two figures. It required a natural and sensual approach, leaning into the fine arts style to honor the work of Vallejo. I am very happy witht the expression on the Siren´s face, and also the posture of the human female, which posed several challenges because of the torsion and several tensions of the sitting position. The interaction between them in this almost-kiss is charged with erotism, delicacy and a touch of danger that I hope I was able to translate into the 3D sculpt.
