Finished a project over the past 3-4 weeks and it was probably the hardest one to complete in terms of getting the plinth and backdrop correct and working on the technical red NMM of the miniature. I had planned to work on this towards the end of last year but wasn't ready mentally and I am glad I didn't start it until now.

This is Valeria from Big Child Creatives and I love the sculpt so much, I wanted to add her to a temple scene to show how bad-ass she is! I figured adding a minotaur's head and axe in the base was a good way for her to demonstrate this haha

The backdrop took 3 attempts and the plinth, base and composition was the 3rd attempt as well. I changed it halfway through based on feedback from friends.

Although I found this challenging it was well worth pushing through and making the changes along the way.
I completed this under the guidance and invaluable feedback of Tim Marsh along the process. Thanks mate! Really helped with pushing through with the last 5% of the piece to elevate it. Highly recommend lessons from Tim if you have the chance.

Also thanks for the feedback from Andy Buckz, Big Deno and Timbo as well. Getting feedback on the base and composition helped along the way and made a big difference.

Time to take these learnings onto the next piece! Have a great week ahead.
