Conversion of a Young Miniatures bust of a US fighter pilot into an American 8th. Air Force heavy bomber pilot. I replaced the kit head with a superb 3D printed one sculpted by Sid Naique and printed by Mark Brooks of Scale Collectables (https://www.scale-collectables.com/), scratchbuilding the garrison cap and headset. Painted up in oils and acrylics.
The head is a 3D print from a bust of “Maverick 2022” by Scale Collectables. I chose it because it was well-detailed and was relatively easy to convert to what I needed. That it still resembled TC after I was through slopping paint all over it is more luck than anything! Thanks for the kind comments!
