Russian Soldier WWII with Tokarev SVT-40 rifle, Eastern Front War 1/35 scale. The figure is made from injection plastic from the Dragon Models 1/35 Ostfront Winter Combatants 1942-43 code: 6652. The head is a new one from Hornet. The sling of the gun is scratch built. This figure has been painted some years ago but I think will be nice to be here. I used Vallejo acrylics and Glaze Medium. I tried to depict the heavy woolen finish of the greatcoat! The figure is strongly fitted to a wooden varnished base and has a scratch built groundwork. The colors' selection has been made after historical research, so that the result is as close as possible to the Russian Infantryman of the ERA.
