Here is my Obitus. Full nmm painting based on the color scheme by Sergio Calvo. The challenge was to keep the reds saturated but also try to paint different materials. The last image is the figure on a background I created to showcase a complete piece in a situation.
Excellent work on a pretty complex miniature. You handled the saturation and focal points really nicely (not easy on a figure with a downturned head and no features!)
Really interesting color palette! The purple skintone works surprisingly well with the armour, I like how you opted for a cold purple and a warm red, they complement each other very well! The backdrop is pretty cool too! Gold for me
