At the end of last year, I painted this lovely lady sculpted by Gael Goumon. She was a definite delight to paint, rarely have I seen such a crisp cast. I was so sad to learn that Mandragore Workshop is closed.

    Impressive Work in this scale. Super crisp detail. Lovely color choices and smooth blends were they are needed. Textured ones to explain different materials. Looks so simple first but this for me is one of the most complex paintjobs I have seen in a while on P&P. Gold and Editor’s choice from me! Lovely piece!

    As always: brilliant work, Maartje! Love the whole color composition and the - as usual - wonderfully smooth execution of the paintjob. I find the dark NMM effect super convincing - I will need to learn that one :-)
