Two weeks ago I had the great opportunity to attend Brushstroke 2023 in Warsaw organized by amazing human and painter Michal @miniaturenightpainting . We painted The Kiss from @scientific.models and sculpted my @mujin__park and the event was a blast!
I tried to again the zorn palette and I loved it. Mars black, titanium white, cadmium red and yellow ochre in oils. I really enjoy this limited palette even though it is restricting, however, I feel it forces me to think a little bit more about mixing colours and how to use them, rather than just painting shadows brown. I enjoyed lainting this piece, even though there are multiple mistakes - lack of depth of shadows, grey spot on the chin etc., but for two days I am glad and happy to call it quits.
