The Archer from Journeyman Miniatures.

I started this piece in a workshop with Krzysztof Kobalczyk getting the initial sketch in place and after a busy summer I've been able to return to working on it. The focus with this piece was on the ambience and I really wanted to push myself with the warm vs cold tones. The aim was to have her feel very different when turning the model through 360 degrees and portray her jumping out of a cold woodland into warm sunlight.

In order to keep the 360 degree view unrestricted I opted not to add a backdrop or add any bigger vegetation/trees to the base, so hopefully the paint does enough to set the scene.

Definitely another piece where I feel I learnt a lot in the process :)
