"Most pagans saw the light and converted to true faith. But not all were willing to listen to reason.."

Was inspired to paint this Hera models bust after seeing this version by Moses.

Something I've been trying to push for the last year or so was my understanding of NMM, and this was the perfect bust to practice (but also intimidating as hell). The front is pretty much a copy of Moses' version, trying to understand the choices in light placement and values.

For the back I had a bigger challenge. I really liked the look of a rim light, but since I also wanted to paint the back, had to somehow integrate it into the bigger model. Not 100% with the result, as I still feel I had to make a choice between making the rimlight believable vs the back, but it's the best compromise I could find.

Curious about feedback on it, and whether it works. Let me know what you think!
