    What a beautiful face that ... uhm stares at me :D ... Wildly! Cool sculpt! Lovely work on the textures and the beard’s hair. I really like the cold rim light. I am always interested in how this is painted and how it looks from the side and back. Is he just blue in the back, is it a blue line. I so far find it not easy to include this in a three dimensional piece to make it work all around. Super funny sculpt! Keep on happy painting!

      It’s funny because I didn’t even take a picture of the back thinking that it didn’t have much interest.

      The rimlight is an effect that works quite well for the photo because it separates the figure from the background and since it is a simple bust I think it gives it a little more interest.

      In this case it is only painted on the sides and faded towards the normal colors of the pumpkin and the fabric. But on other occasions you can paint the entire area with blue and create the sensation that there is another light behind.
