    Here, in my country, we have a story about some monks who adopt an orphan boy, named “Marcelino, bread and wine”. Perfectly, this bust would represent the friar that Marcelino the boy baptizes as “friar porridge”

    What a great face and overall portrait/pose. I also like the nicely proportioned jug. I’m sure it’s wine he’s pouring but looking at this contented monk I am finding myself thinking about painting the textures of a robe and apron and now craving a Franzikaner Weissbier
