Finished another project prior to Crimson Brush held in Canberra Australia over the weekend. The bust was Arnau Miniatures Lunch with a Dragon. My eldest daughter loves dragons and loves this bust so much when she saw it, I said I would paint it up for her and give it to her as a gift.

I made a little shop front with sign which I think suits the scene well. I will be going back to make changes to the window by putting some posters on them after receiving great feedback from Crimson Brush judges.

The main colour palette was chosen by my eldest daughter, which has only just occurred to me is the opposite and similar to the Maya and Volghar bust I painted last year haha. Also added some resin affects to the ramen bowl, cause why not!

Was a really fun bust to paint and would encourage/recommend you to give it a go if you haven't.

Your ideas and execution are always so good! Your creativity is really astounding, when one looks at all your pieces. Nevertheless, I think my favourite part of this are still your colours and their use. The pastel colours contrast very nicely with the background and I like how you inverted colours on the two characters! Lovely!
