Hi!
Another Lucas's sculpt, this time the goblin mercenary. I love painting this little busts because they are like a small break between projects.
In this painting i tried to work with an interesting palette of browns and to represent materials in a subtile way.
A bit of an exercice to make something interesting without having a lot of saturation and contrast.
I hope you like it

Lovely to see this one painted by you! I think Lucas Pina busts suit your painting style really well. It is also interesting to see you paint in a more desaturated way. I like it, feels very realistic. I enjoy your texture work a lot and love that drawing on the shield and the wood. Skin areas and his face are superb. Great piece! Not a usual yours, but stands out for me without having this lot of saturation and contrast. Keep on happy painting!

I love the muted, earth tones and the dirty, beaten-up armour. Beautiful work.

I think that I saw so many version of this bust, that I think that there are no more versions, which can beat them. And yet, I am always proven wrong and artists do a wonderful job. And this is one of the best. I love the palette of the piece and the textures on everything. Beautiful piece.
