Really beautiful work on the OSL glow of the orange/yellow. I like how precise it is build up on the figure and how well it works. The miniature is well presented in that light. The back with the subtle glowing blue gems tells the full story of the gem miner with the base’s gems. Really well thought and strong in storytelling via material, scene setup and base/figure connection. Top. Also really well painted in the back.
My feedback where I see potential to make this even greater is only in the level of detail the base structure recieves. There is so much going on of rock material with stronger edges that could define your osl even more. Areas around the torch and in the back in the blue, some edges stronger lid by OSLs and it would pop even more. I am not 100% convinced by the scuplt of the torch, it feels a bit too big for the scale and the light it producses. Please take this only as well meant feedback. No bad intention.

Thank you Roman for your very constructive comment. it means a lot to me and allows me to have confirmation on certain points of the diorama. i’m not a big fan of the torch either, i’ll find another one :) this one is just a blob of hot glue xD
I’m also going to look at the osl on the base. at the start of the project, I only wanted a mine tunnel section. everything that wasn’t in the center of the frame had to be black. But with the addition of the gems outside the lit area, it’s true that I’d have to paint all the walls.

great OSL situations! I really like your interpretation of it. To me a smaller base or a more tighter space would be even better, however you managed to do it well!
