And this is Ferro, the name he got with his mechanical arms. But as you may have guessed, he wasn’t always like this. There is a legend among the Animalians about a protector who liberated the Earth from the Reptilians more than half a century ago. Earlier, before gaining metal hands he was an ordinary, unremarkable Animalian, well, as much as possible by our human standards. But soon everything changed.
On the night of the comet rain, as the invading ships entered the atmosphere, it seemed as if the clouds were melting, falling from the sky in burning droplets of molten metal.

Here they come. A race of reptilian-looking aliens. There was chaos and destruction all around. Fire was in every third house on every street. Selflessly saving other lives from the flames and rubble, Ferro suffered massive burns to his hands and only miraculously survived. When he awoke from a week’s sleep in Antistes’ workshop, he was horrified to discover he had two metal hands. That day Ferro lost not only his memory and hands, but also his peaceful life. It was not just any metal, but a super-strong alloy - nevridium. It had a special synergy with the body’s bioelectric potential. The impulse passing to the metal changed its structure, “revitalizing” atoms and producing energy. The energy came back, as if in a closed circuit, to the bearer, forcing the cells to work in a special mode, prolonging life and healing wounds.
The Reptilians are very interested in this technology. And they want it at any cost…
