The face masks get to this piece a very inhumane and distant feeling. It is also an interesting pose of the miniature, raising a spear to thrust the standard to the ground. The painting is awesome and I really like how the photo from the front is red and green (from the base) and from the back, it is blue and green. Great miniature.
