This was the first time working to a particular colour palette and using colder colours in general. I tried to keep the focus on the face despite the distracting elements like the bird and the shield. I'm really keen to improve on composition so I would appreciate any feedback on how to improve on future projects!

This is a great paintjob. The miniature shines in your tones and I really like the contrasting skin and the cold metals. Also the freehands are top. Great job!

I enjoy the volumetry you developed on the character’s nose.

Thank you, there are lots of subtle marks and shapes within the sculpt and it gives it so much character. Lucas Pina busts are incredible.

As you were asking for feedback: I think you could go for more microdetailing now. Just make another pass on all materials and define more. For example if you look at the silver metal part that is in the front of the helmet: You painted upper edge highlights, but left the edges undefined that lead towards the face. If it is metal, light would travel longer as a reflection on an edge ...such level of detail can be added everywhere. More skin variation, more wrinkles, more texture, more metal reflection ...hope this helps!

Wow thank you Roman for the valuable feedback!  I’ll definitely be taking this on board.
