I wasn't going to post this. I failed. But I also succeeded in some way. I had a concept in my head that a girl would dance naked in a chapel at dusk, the golden hour. The colours of the stained glass would tint her body and cast shadows.

The concept required me to laser cut the chapel window, resin pour the glass in 4 different colours, put wiring, leds and a battery pack within the backdrop to it would light up, paint the lights of the stained glass etc on the floor and her. The reality is the photos without the backdrop are more visually appealing. The reality is the view of the girl 'in the round' is a more interesting proposition. The backdrop is distracting and detracts from the overall appeal.

I guess sometimes less really is more.

    This is just gorgeous. I`m not sure what is better, with the background or without. Nevertheless, both have an atmosphere and speak a story hauntingly. Really great art.
