Nekro by @blackcrowminiatures . Last one before Kontrast 2024, if you want you'll be able to see him in Warsaw next weekend!

He's been sitting in my drawer for almost two years now I think, I was too scared to paint him because I desperately wanted to do justice to one of my favourite sculpts ever. I haven't seen many of them painted, too. I tried to pull out all the stops for this one, we'll see how he does at Kontrast!

    The armor is fantastic, a nice work with the sculpture for sure. The paint is really atmospheric, nice choice of cold color pattern, with great texture, specially in the cloak.

    Wow! What a clean, sharp and atmospheric work! Your version looks one of the best I’ve seen (and for sure better than official box art that was made more in cartoonish style while your is more realistic).

      Thank you! This sculpt really doesn’t seem that popular, besides the boxart and my version I’ve seen like two others… Maybe it’s the 1000 bones he has all over himself, that was… something… to paint lol

      I wanted to buy and to paint it for at least the last year, but still don’t had a convenient opportunity. Works like yours really inspire. So it still in my bookmarks, while the giant pile of other models are still in a row.
