Hi!1 This one was painted back in 2008 and was my first entry to Golden Demon Spain. It picked up a bronze demon in the staff category (I was working for GW then and that was the only category I could enter.) I've learnt a lot since then about painting miniatures however, the freehand on the cloak is something I am very proud of. A good friend bet me that I couldn't reproduce the then cover of Warhammer on his cloak, so I tried and I did it!

    Truly and excellent piece. I will say it looks like you put more effort into the freehand than the rest of the model as it looks a lot higher standard, but boy that is some seriously good freehand. Well done. Deserved the gold I gave it. :)

      Thanks for the kind words Luke! I totally agree with you, the main thing I was concentrating on was the freehand design. The rest of it is actually pretty basic. It was done in 2008 and I’ve learnt a lot about painting since then, I’m still very fond of this piece though as it got me my first Golden Demon trophy.
