Alyx has always been a troubled child and after her recent fight in school she was sent to a mental institution for anger management. She didn´t like the place. All those doctors who told her what to do and not to do." You cant fight, you are a girl" they said. they shouldn´t have...now Alyx was really angry! Angry on the doctors, the school and pretty much everone who was trying to control her "just because she was a girl". Long story short...she brake free from the doctors and is now wandering the mental institution to settle the score with the people who have treated her badly...

I had a blast painting this one and got the inspiration to the "story" after I had listen to a song by Emilie Autumn called Fight like a girl.

Painted using acrylics and the first time I tried to do a whole scene in greyscales.

    I love the greyscale look, you’ve nailed that.  I like the concept, but I’m not sold that the speech bubbles work.  I just don’t get them…

      Thank´s! I was using the song as an inspiration and the text is from that song. Combined with the written story. I guess it´s still not that obvious. That´s something I´m glad you pointed out, will try to think about the context on future projects.

    Dude, love this! The idea is awesome, and the speech bubbles are a great extra detail. It wouldn’t work on just any piece but I think it adds to this one as a whole and helps accentuate the concept, so yeah… great work buddy, gold from me! :)
