Hi!
Finally after endless hours of painting Inquisitor Coteaz is finished. I really wanted to paint him in more spectacular way then usually. Working on his armor was kind of a challenge because I wanted to paint it not just in yellow color with a strong contrast, but to create effect of real shiny metal. Another things that where a challenge where patterns on the cloak. I wanted to create something monochromatic on front which would not fight for attention with golden armor but was also delicate and elegant. Idea for the back was of course much different, and also at some point I wanted to create there facture which you can see for example on this pattern in the middle of the coat. The eagle was also not easy because I decided to paint facture on every single feather, and make him looks more realistic. The base was created in the way where is would show something industrial and put Coteaz on some sort of a pedestal, but I also painted it in much darker tones then Coteaz so all focus would be on him. So anyway I hope you like my work :)

Excellent work technically and though I’m not a fan of color saturation this time I’ll make an exception. ;)

    Love it!
