It managed to win gold which I'm super happy about since the competition was really tough (as always)! The entire event was a lot of fun this year and I've already started planning something for next time ;)
This was one of the most intense projects I've ever finished.. mostly because I started too late, not giving myself enough time to finish it at my normal pace.. so yeah, there were a lot of late nights by the end of it trying to get it done in time.. :P I carved the stone blocks for the base out of high density polyurethane modeling board. I managed to take some wip-pics as I was building that I'll try to post over on www.stockholmwarpaint.com as soon as I get a chance..
