This was my entry for the 2016 Open Competition at the UK Golden Demon event at Warhammer Fest.

It managed to win gold which I'm super happy about since the competition was really tough (as always)! The entire event was a lot of fun this year and I've already started planning something for next time ;)

This was one of the most intense projects I've ever finished.. mostly because I started too late, not giving myself enough time to finish it at my normal pace.. so yeah, there were a lot of late nights by the end of it trying to get it done in time.. :P I carved the stone blocks for the base out of high density polyurethane modeling board. I managed to take some wip-pics as I was building that I'll try to post over on http://www.stockholmwarpaint.com as soon as I get a chance..

If you have any other questions or comments don't hesitate to post them! :)

Gold!! Incredible work, pure ‘Eavy Metal finish. Love all the little details and the chains are absolute genius! Was great to be able to paint alongside you and see this come together, well deserved first place!

Yes! This one just perfectly catches what a real Dungeon should be about: Many hidden “Gems”, a lot of critters, Swords, Leather Loincloths and Fur Thongs… :D Really cool little scene with cool details and perfect colours… I love it! :) GOLD

Congratulatulations, Sir. I love this model and you did him wonderful justice. I used to be not the biggest fan anmore when it comes to the so called “Eavy Metal” Painting Style, but seeing it done in such a beautiful way makes me reconsider. Really a great piece! Keep in happy painting!
