The bust is painted with artistic oils over enamels.
I preferred not to paint him as blondy as the Hollywood movies suggested. I tried also to keep his face without deep flesh tones, because his was a young man just 18-20 years old. Evenmore, to enchance the color diversity I have chosen a dark blue cuirass instead of a typical grey-olive green one, with a light violet tunic as the Macedon aristocracy of the time used to wear.
