Owls and treeman on haze ;)
Like it a lot…no… love it
Really happy that you like the concept and the idea/message behind it :)
Would love to see your take on it in the future. I will definatly paint another one and maybe another one as my mind is racing with ideas for it.
Love it simple as that. The rest is allready said ;-)
Love it…nice painwork on a nice sculpt! :)
Thank you, Matthieu. I am happy to hear that as I know our both ways of painting are differently. I mean mine nowadays is all about brushstrokes and not smooth blends. Alfonso influanced me so much and right now this is the painter in me that comes out of this. I am really happy that you have an open mind and also enjoy and accept different things :) - keep on happy painting!
Totally crazy motif and then also unusual painting.
For me a wonderful work and they like me very much!
Thanks a lot, Pit. Got some more unusual ideas in my head that might see birth in the future. Thanks for the encouraging words!
Nice bust my friend, glad you finally made it :-)
Good things take their while :)
... time I mean.
RO-man strikes again!!!
hahahah ... it was a pleasure to meet you at the NOVA, John. Absolutely.
A lovely and original idea. Glad I was able to see this piece in person at NOVA!
I was happy to be able to bring it. Thank you, David!
This is the kind of things were you are just the top! Amazing interpretation!
Thank you Francesco. I am really happy that you enjoy this concept and the idea. I know that you will often not enjoy my paintjobs from the perspective of supergreat amazing blendings. Just wanted to tell you that I am absolutely fine with this. Not a problem. Right now I decide to paint like this, it might change in the future again. And I am thankful that you see me on top of several things, I intend not to be as from my perspective this miniature world needs no penis challenge. We are all old enough and need to push this passion forward as one to make it bigger in the future. Thank you my friend. I am sad I won’t be able to come to MSS this year, but we will see at SMC :)
Many thanks! Learned so much about painting owls you can not imagine. I did not try to copy the real thing as I looked up so many owls. I tried to paint my interpretation of what I have seen on my research, but still Owls are not the easiest thing to paint, but a good challenge for research and understanding what there is to do.
Lovely work, especially on the eyes!
Many thanks, Albert. Yes there is one year of conceptual work, teaming up with Romain and finally painting it, in there. A lot of myself and the love for the subject in it. I am happy that you can see it :)
Great piece and lovely concept behind!
I knew you would like that one :) ... Thanks, Jero!
I LOVE IT…. SOME OF THE COOLEST CONSEPT I`VE SEEN !!!
Thank you, Roy. I am happy that you enjoy the concept and idea behind this bust! For me it means so much. Nature is most precious thing and a thing of beauty to learn from not only for painting. My granddad used to take me out in the forests all the time showing me birds and animals, my dad continued and since my granddad is long gone I know that even when my dad has to leave this earth I know that both will always stick around with me and everytime I see a bird I know its biological name and think of my family. Why am I writing this here? Well, because it is what I feel when I look at it.
Simply one of the most peaceful and enjoyable busts I have ever seen. Awesome!
Thank you my friend. Can not wait to see your version!
those owls! :D
Thank you. Yes owls. Love them, scared of ‘em and enjoyed painting them.
Love this squirrel:)
I am trying to imagine how delighted you were to paint something that comes directly from your mind, interpreted by one of the great sculptors. And then in your hands to make it come to life with colours, in special interpretation :) All compliments. ^^
Great as usuall for You Roman!!! A Great painting style on a Great sculpure…I like very much like You have done all the green wood effects: like it was a skin and not only wood…What else? Gold…
