He stands above the silenced bunker, the woods now quiet save for the ticking of his cooling Tommy gun. Suddenly the heavens open, pelting down with cold Autumn rain. Just another miserable day trying to keep it together in the Hurtgenwald.

That's the scene I imagined when I started out on this figure. It was a bit of an experiment, trying to capture the effect of rain, wet and misery. Hope you like it.

I’ve commented once but keep coming back to this lovy scene!!! This whole thing rocks nick!!! Rocks hard mate!!! That rain effect is the first time I’ve scene it to where its absolutely comes off so believable and very realistic. If you blink your eyes and take it out of its moment frozen in time you can actual believe its hitting the ground and splashing back up !!! I gave you a gold but again like I always put it: “scenes like this are why we need to have a platinum or diamond button!!!”
    Cheers cheers cheers my man!!!

Hey John, thanks for the comment mate!
Yeah, I got a bit obsessed in this project with how I could convey rain pelting down, to add to this wet GI’s misery.
I hadn’t seen it done before in a model, but got this idea when viewing photos of rain bouncing off wet concrete and puddles. Glad to hear you think it works.
All the best and thanks again dude!
