This is a Second Lieutenant of the Polish 12th Lancer 'Podolski' Regiment, depicted just before the outbreak of WWII.
He was converted from Alpine Miniatures wonderful 120mm German Officer.
Wow! Nice conversion, Great paint work and setting. I really get the feel of impending doom. The first thing I saw though was the cotton smoke puff and thought, “oh crap, I hate when people do that!” But upon second and third observation I am happy to say that you pulled that off perfectly. This is the “first”, time I’ve ever seen this done well. Congrats!
Lol, thanks Scott - I know what you mean. Sometimes stuff like that can be hit and miss.
Glad you think it’s a hit in this instance though. Cheers mate

The smoke looks so real ! What’s the secret ?
Nick Mulligan
Cotton-wool shaped with super glue and a tooth-pick, a few attempts to get a realistic wisp, and a few fingers glued together :)
Cheers
