Just this weekend I took a painting class with Meg Maples. The Intermediate class focused on creating atmosphere and ambience in painting. It was a really interesting look into colour theory and concepts behind how to integrate a character into an environment without actually having anything there.

Really great experience, felt like I pushed through a few more barriers and also tried to share some of my experiences with others in the class, so great all round experience.
